“I’m having great difficulty swapping between ‘the real world’ and the surreal world of swinging and it takes a good few days to make the adjustment back to reality.
In all fairness it could have something to do with the fact that its such a buzz and exiting and makes the rest of your life seem a little more dull than it was before…”

“I’ve been here a few months now, had a look around and I’m definitely staying because this place has something quite unique among bulletin boards I’m familiar with, and that is a very real community spirit. Sure it has its ups and downs, c’est la vie, but in general I find that most people who post here are very genuine, witty, and above all not stuck up their own behinds like so many people who want to run the world from behind the safety barrier called a keyboard.
Sometimes the discussions do get deep and serious, and even heated, but I don’t see a lot of preaching, I see people expressing themselves sometimes quite forcefully, but always with respect for everyone else’s opinion, and that’s a rare and valuable thing I think.
I think the community, like its individual members, is susceptible to mood swings, but if anyone perceives a downward trend on that score, I hope they’ll think about it and see it as just one of the occasional ‘downs’ before the next ‘up’.
All’s well as far as I can see, and I definitely don’t think the spark has gone, it just takes a bit of a rest now and then.”
